This Sales Director position supports the growth of a leading ESG consultancy specialising in energy and sustainability solutions, working with high-profile clients across the UK and internationally.
About the Job
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our sales and business development team as an Account Director. The role involves delivering further solutions to existing private equity clients and their portfolio companies, selling ESG solutions to mid-market private equity clients, and addressing their unique needs at every stage of the investment cycle.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Sell ESG solutions to mid-market private equity clients
- Deliver tailored ESG solutions from due diligence through ongoing portfolio support
- Collaborate with ESG consultants to deliver projects
- Maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders such as Board Members and ESG specialists
- Contribute to the expansion of our footprint within each account
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong commercial background in account management and new business development, ideally within the private equity sector. A proven track record of revenue growth and relationship building is essential, particularly with senior stakeholders.
A thorough understanding of ESG / GRC principles is desirable, as well as the ability to build and expand a network within the private equity sector.
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, plus commission. Additional benefits include private medical insurance, a pension plan, and life assurance benefits. With a flexible hybrid working arrangement, this position is based in London or Surrey offices, with at least three days per week in the office.
