Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at The Owl Centre. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with children in local schools, providing assessment and therapy services to support their speech and language development.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Travel to local schools to deliver assessment and therapy services to multiple children throughout the day.
  • Use your expertise to conduct comprehensive assessments, identifying speech and communication difficulties.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement tailored therapeutic interventions.
  • Liaise with schools, parents, and our team regarding findings and progress made with each child.
  • Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of case notes and reports, uploading them to relevant systems.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Hold an accredited Speech and Language Therapy degree
  • Be registered with the HCPC
  • Have at least 1 year's experience as a Speech and Language Therapist (post-competency)
  • Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 full school day available to work each week, enabling them to focus on their work in a single school setting
  • Must be able to travel for appointments
Salary Details

The estimated annual salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience and location.
