Job Title: Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with specialist knowledge of differential diagnosis associated with Stroke, including complex dysphagia and complex communication.

The successful post holder will be part of a team of 70 staff who are situated within the community stroke team and cover the Northamptonshire area.

They will provide support and leadership to the other Band 6s within the community stroke beds and community stroke team (CST).

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join the Community Stroke Team and Community Stroke Beds.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, rehabilitation practitioners, rehabilitation assistants, and admin staff.

The successful candidate will have experience of joint goal setting and multidisciplinary team working.

Requirements
  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (Essential)
  • Evidence of multidisciplinary team working (Essential)
  • Able to drive and has a full license (Essential)

Estimated Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 per annum.
