Specialist Speech Language Professional

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Speech Language Professional to join our Community Stroke Team and Community Stroke Beds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy, with a focus on differential diagnosis and treatment of stroke-related disorders. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services to patients, including assessment, goal-setting, and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert opinions to colleagues, supervising and mentoring junior staff members, and contributing to the development and maintenance of the team's clinical expertise in this area. They will also be expected to participate in joint goal-setting and multidisciplinary team working. A degree in Speech and Language Therapy is essential, and experience working in a similar role is desirable.
