Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reviews Coordinator to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a Reviews Coordinator, you will play a critical role in promoting a housing options approach to service delivery, maximizing homelessness prevention, and ensuring effective solutions to meet housing need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate Complaints: Thoroughly investigate complaints from MPs, elected members, and senior managers, and conduct interviews and home visits as necessary to gather information.
  • Liaise with Councils: Liaise closely with the Councils' Legal Department to provide instructions, agree decisions, discuss matters of law and interpretation, request counsel's advice, draft statements and affidavits, and attend court as necessary.
  • Data Management: Input all data, make detailed case notes, and update progress on reviews on all IT systems.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a caseload of reviews, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including MPs, elected members, senior managers, and service users.
  • Performance Targets: Achieve performance targets and departmental objectives, prioritizing competing demands in a pressurized environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience of managing a caseload, undertaking statutory homelessness and reviews of decisions under the Housing Act (amended).
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legislation to diverse range of customers.
  • Availability: Availability to work immediately or at short notice.
  • Right to Work: Right to work in the U.K.
