Job Description
  • This role involves managing a team of event marketing professionals who specialize in executing events and roadshows across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will have experience working with multi-discipline, cross-cultural teams and senior stakeholders across geographies and time zones.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic client-centric event marketing plans tailored to the needs of business partners and balanced with a focus on expense management.
  • Personally lead and execute important events involving senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic event partner working closely with business and business-aligned marketing teams.
  • Manage and mentor a team of event marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback and support to ensure their success and professional growth.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the firm, clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Financial accountability including managing strategic event forecasting, department budget, reviewing projects and ensuring expense management.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven project management capabilities and expertise - able to prioritize and work under pressure by handling multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously and with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of latest event trends, industry innovations and technologies.
  • Flexibility in work hours - must be able to work non-traditional hours and weekends and have a flexible travel schedule when required. Must be willing to travel 35-40% of time.

Estimated Salary

£80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
