Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join our team at a large primary school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and be able to develop strategies to promote learning and social interaction.

Responsibilities:- SUPPORT A YEAR 1 CHILD WITH ASC.
- EMPLOY STRATEGIES TO ENCOURAGE LEARNING AND SOCIALISATION.
- WORK AS PART OF A TEAM TO MEET INDIVIDUAL NEEDS.
- RELEVANT QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING FOR THE ROLE.
- PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN AND RUNNING INTERVENTION GROUPS.
- FREE ONLINE SAFEGUARDING AND PREVENT DUTY TRAINING.
- ENHANCED DBS CHECK AND UPDATE SERVICE SUBSCRIPTION.
$£28,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
