Nurse Specialist

We offer a comprehensive package that includes a competitive salary of approximately £31,628 to £43,041 per annum, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits such as generous annual leave entitlements, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
About the RoleThis challenging yet rewarding role will involve working closely with individuals with learning disabilities, their families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. You will be expected to work proactively, using your skills and experience to promote positive outcomes and improve service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, person-centered care to adults and young people with learning disabilities
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide specialist advice, support, and training to colleagues, families, and carers
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RNLD)
- A good understanding of current policy and practice in relation to people with learning disabilities
- Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities

- Teaching qualification or equivalent, or recent experience in the provision of training to health staff
- Experience working with community LD teams and primary care services
