Nurse Specialist

This is a fixed-term/secondment vacancy until 31/10/2026.
As a Registered Nurse within the Health Visiting Service, this post will primarily cover Carmarthenshire.
The post holder will support the Baby Friendly Initiative, deliver health promotion advice, facilitate healthy baby clinics, complete delegated developmental assessments, and participate in training to support further learning.
The post holder will work collaboratively and in partnership with other disciplines and agencies to improve the health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.
Main Duties of the Job- An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse who may be considering applying to undertake a SCPHN programme and wishes to develop their skills and gain experience of working within the Generic Health Visiting skill mix team based in Carmarthenshire - Llanelli & Carmarthen.
- The post holder will need to be committed to developing a high degree of standards of care and actively seek and promote professional working relationships with other statutory and voluntary practitioners.
- The ability to travel between sites in a timely manner is an essential part of this role.
