Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Officer for Planning Appeals. This role involves providing administrative support for planning appeals, managing registration publicity notices, and collaborating with Tree Officers to monitor Tree Preservation Order replacements.

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working full-time (37 hours per week). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in administration and hold GCSE-level qualifications or equivalent. As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for raising purchase orders and sales orders on our financial management system, dealing with invoice queries, setting up new suppliers, and maintaining records and producing reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise purchase orders and sales orders on our financial management system as requested
  • Deal with invoice queries, set up new suppliers, and keep records and produce reports as required
  • Provide administrative support for the planning appeals function
  • Work with the Registration Team to manage registration publicity notices
  • Assist Tree Officers in monitoring Tree Preservation Order replacements and dealing with TPO objection/support letters
