Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Principal Social Worker to join their Emergency Duty Team in Northamptonshire. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £48,911 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, review, and provide support to individuals with complex needs, adhering to relevant legal frameworks, policies, and guidance.
  • Collaborate with professionals to help individuals and families improve their lives and participate in their communities.
  • Carry out assessments and plan responses to safeguard individuals from abuse, neglect, or exploitation.
  • Arrange alternative care options, including permanent homes, in collaboration with individuals and their families.
  • Promote autonomy and development with individuals who have complex social needs.
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of activity on cases.
  • Participate in planning and decision-making forums, including case discussions and legal planning meetings.
  • Act as a Practice Educator or Assessor for social work students and newly qualified social workers.
  • Contribute to the development of organisational capability through training and development.

Requirements:

  • Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
  • Continual professional development.
  • Social Work England registration.
  • Experience within Adult Social Work.
