We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our thriving family service in Northampton. This unique opportunity offers a stable team environment with a manageable caseload, allowing you to build strong, long-term relationships with families and professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a manageable caseload, providing in-depth support and fostering positive outcomes for children and families.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, reports, and chair meetings on a regular basis.
  • Collaborate effectively with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach.
  • Take the lead on specific parenting programs, empowering families to reach their full potential.
  • Uphold statutory duties and demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • A qualified Social Worker (degree or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years' experience (desirable).
  • Currently registered with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Experienced in conducting specialist PAM assessments.
  • Adept at using a psychodynamic framework to understand family dynamics.
  • A skilled facilitator with experience delivering parenting programs.
  • Possess a strong safeguarding record and experience giving evidence in court.
