Accounts Payable Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our team at Ocado Retail Ltd. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will be responsible for processing invoices, investigating discrepancies, and communicating with internal and external parties.
Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices accurately and timely, including inputting, coding, and PO matching.
- Investigate and resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies on invoices using internal systems.
- Assist in preparation of BACs and CHAPs payments when required.
- Work towards individual and team targets for invoice processing.
- Assist in maintaining accuracy of filing systems.
- Manage queries from internal and external parties to facilitate the accuracy of Accounts Payable.
- Communicate with departments across the business.
- Identify and escalate any known issues and conflicts to the Team Leader.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a customer-focused environment.
- Evidence of strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience of Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Proven strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven strong interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience of working Accounts Payable.
- Knowledge of basic accounting techniques and principles.
- Proven experience in resolving discrepancies on invoices.
- Knowledge of ORACLE accounting package.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent (to include English and Maths grade C).
- Worked in a commercial high-volume department.
