We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our residential childcare team at New Forest Care Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will provide excellent unconditional care for our children, supporting them to feel valued and safe.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and everyday needs are met.
- Maintain the home and welfare of each child, ensuring they access a healthy balanced diet and routine.
- Support children to develop self-esteem, a feeling of safety, and personal strategies to deal with unhelpful behavior and thoughts.
- Contribute to reports and assessments, and provide a consistent, high-quality service that supports the assessed needs of residents.
- Support and promote a positive safeguarding culture, and actively promote and engage in promoting creativity, openness, and a strong teamwork ethic.
- Compassionate, resilient, and committed to being a positive role model.
- Able to do overnight sleep-ins, which are part of the role.
- Confident in managing challenging behaviors.
- Flexible, working a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends, and holiday periods.
- High staff to child ratios and no agency staff.
- Comprehensive induction training.
- Regular in-house training for all staff to support their role.
- Funded professional qualifications - Diploma Level 3 for Residential Childcare for all Support Workers & DDP Level 1.
- Staff bonus after 2 years' service and subject to company performance.
- Recommend-a-friend - up to £1500.

- 5.6 weeks annual leave (inc. Bank Holidays) increasing with length of service.
