Job Title: Activity Residential Support Worker

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activity Residential Support Worker to join our residential childcare team at New Forest Care Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care and support to our children, helping them to feel valued, safe, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and everyday needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, ensuring the home is clean, tidy, and well-organized.
  • Support children to access education, health appointments, and other essential services.
  • Develop and implement activities that promote self-esteem, confidence, and personal strategies to manage challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality service that meets the assessed needs of residents.
  • Contribute to daily records, reports, and assessments, providing valuable insights into the children's progress and well-being.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and challenging behaviors.
  • Compassion, resilience, and a commitment to being a positive role model.
  • Ability to work overnight sleep-ins and flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviors and developing personal strategies.
