We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant II to join our Finance team at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, preparing monthly close process, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Your key responsibilities will include preparing journal entries, working with finance staff, and analyzing financial documents. You will also assist with the HCFS TPL Lockbox program, prepare project budget information, and upload data to PeopleSoft.

This is a challenging opportunity to apply your accounting knowledge and skills in a fast-paced environment. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, and 2-4 years of experience in accounting or related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills are also essential.
