Position Overview:
The University of Massachusetts Medical School is seeking a skilled Pre-Admission Screening Resident Review Specialist to join our team. This role involves conducting PASSR Level II Evaluations and ensuring that individuals with mental illness receive an in-person evaluation and nursing facility placement determination.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-person evaluations to confirm the presence of MI and determine the need for specialized services.
• Prepare and respond to requests for statistics and resource/service data.
• Foster continuity of care by liaising with healthcare providers and other programs/organizations involved in service provision.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and regulations, including HIPAA requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field, or equivalent OR a registered nurse (RN).
• 5 years of work experience providing direct service or case management to adults with psychiatric disabilities, including 1 year of experience in a medical or clinical setting with knowledge of medical terminology. (If a Registered Nurse, must have a minimum of 9 years of collective relevant education and work experience as outlined above).
• Ability to travel statewide and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, based on experience.
