Job Description: PASSR Evaluation Coordinator

Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

The University of Massachusetts Medical School seeks a detail-oriented and organized PASSR Evaluation Coordinator to conduct Pre-Admission Screening Resident Reviews (PASSR) Level II Evaluations. This role requires a strong understanding of relevant guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and complete evaluations prior to nursing facility admissions.
  • Communicate evaluation findings to applicants, residents, and/or guardians in an understandable manner and language.
  • Foster continuity of care by liaising with healthcare providers, acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, and other programs/organizations involved in the provision of services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience providing direct service or case management to adults with psychiatric disabilities.
  • Ability to travel statewide and knowledge of medical terminology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Massachusetts licensed Psychologist, Licensed Social Worker, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, or other licensed professional.
  • Experience working with disabled or long-term care populations.
