About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Advisor to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our Knowledge Exchange (KE) Policy Team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of policies that drive commercialisation, innovation, and collaboration between universities and businesses. Your expertise will help us navigate complex policy landscapes and ensure that our initiatives meet the needs of stakeholders across the sector.

Responsibilities:
As a Policy Advisor, you will be responsible for:
  1. Developing and implementing policies that support commercialisation and innovation in higher education.
  2. Conducting research and analysis to inform policy decisions and recommendations.
  3. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to advance our policy goals.
  4. Providing expert advice on KE policy matters to senior colleagues and other teams.
  5. Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in KE policy and commercialisation.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A strong background in policy development, commercialisation, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
