Job Title: Children's Home Registered Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and driven Children's Home Registered Manager to set up and manage a brand new 3-bed home for children and young people with EBD. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and managerial skills, experience leading within a residential home for children & young people with learning disabilities and or challenging behaviours.

About the Role: As a Children's Home Registered Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the highest levels of care and support to the young people aged between 7 and 18. You will have the children and quality at the heart of your values, and the vision to inspire and support the young people to lead happy and successful lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to young people
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the home
  • Managing budgets and resources to ensure the home is financially sustainable
  • Working closely with external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for young people

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management (Children's Services)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Services or equivalent
  • Experience working within a Deputy or Children's Home Registered Manager's position
  • Experience in a residential children's home environment
  • Full UK driving licence
