Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to join our team at Esland. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for the overall management and care of our young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practice in residential childcare
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide a holistic approach to care and support
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the smooth operation of the home
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant role, such as deputy manager or home manager
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent
  • Previous experience of participating in Ofsted inspections
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external partners
