The Facilities team plays a crucial role in ensuring that operational services can function efficiently in well-maintained environments, meeting legal and safety standards.

As a Facilities Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing essential facilities management services across multiple sites in Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Facilities Manager with planned maintenance, including overseeing repairs and ensuring projects comply with regulations.
  • Work closely with external contractors to monitor the quality of work and ensure facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with all legal standards.
  • Project manage, report, and develop solutions that align with business needs and organisational goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum HND/HNC in Building Surveying or a relevant technical qualification.
  • Experience in facilities management, contract administration, and project management within cross-functional teams.
  • A strong understanding of construction techniques, building standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Confidence working both independently and within a team, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Experience with CAD and producing warrant drawings is essential.
  • A full driving licence is required.

  • A competitive salary of £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience, with a car allowance and a generous pension contribution.
