Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to work within the female pathway of our Rehabilitation and High Support Care hub.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing gender-informed care and working in a rehabilitation setting, specifically with women who have severe and enduring mental health needs.
Your Responsibilities:- Promote and manage a high-quality psychology service.
- Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to service users.
- Lead on embedding and evaluating a trauma-informed care approach.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate clinical discussion groups.
- Offer one-to-one clinical supervision to colleagues.
- Contribute to service developments, Quality Improvement projects, and governance initiatives.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Experience in specialist assessment and treatment of adult clients with complex mental health problems.
- Experience working in inpatient multidisciplinary teams and providing clinical supervision.
- Understanding of trauma-informed care and national legislation related to psychological therapies within inpatient services.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel as needed.
