This role is ideal for someone passionate about providing gender-informed care and working in a rehabilitation setting, specifically with women who have severe and enduring mental health needs.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Promote and manage a high-quality psychology service.
  • Provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention to service users.
  • Lead on embedding and evaluating a trauma-informed care approach.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and facilitate clinical discussion groups.
  • Offer one-to-one clinical supervision to colleagues.
  • Contribute to service developments, Quality Improvement projects, and governance initiatives.
Your Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience in specialist assessment and treatment of adult clients with complex mental health problems.
  • Experience working in inpatient multidisciplinary teams and providing clinical supervision.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care and national legislation related to psychological therapies within inpatient services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel as needed.
