Job Overview

The Greater Manchester Resilience Hub (GMRH) is a pioneering service that provides comprehensive support to individuals impacted by traumatic events. As a highly specialist psychologist/psychotherapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers innovative, trauma-responsive care.

Main Duties
  • Provide consultation to other professionals and non-professionals on trauma-related issues
  • Develop and implement training packages for multi-agency professionals
  • Conduct clinical supervision and consultancy with multi-agency staff
  • Assess and intervene clinically around child protection issues
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology and registration with the Health Professions Council
  • Experience of working as a qualified clinical/counselling psychologist or highly specialist psychotherapist in the NHS
  • Experience of caseload management, complex safeguarding, and working with children and adults presenting with a range of clinical severity
