About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our Neurology Therapy Team as a Senior Rehabilitation Assistant. As a member of our team, you will work closely with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other Rehabilitation Assistants to provide therapeutic management to patients.
You will be responsible for assisting in the rehabilitation process, working directly with patients to help them achieve independence and well-being.
This role offers comprehensive training, supervision, and opportunities for professional development, including the chance to achieve a Level 3 QCF qualification.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the therapeutic management of patients alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other Rehabilitation Assistants.
- Work directly with patients to help them achieve independence and well-being.
- Participate in the development of treatment plans and implement interventions to support patient recovery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Broad general education to GCSE/NVQ II, including C grade or equivalent in Maths and English.
- Care certificate and level 2 in a health-related area.
- A clear understanding of the Occupational therapy and Physiotherapy role.
- Demonstration of an awareness of neurological conditions.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
