About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Therapist to join our Neurology Therapy Team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational therapy and physiotherapy principles, with experience working in acute care settings. They will also have a clear awareness of neurological conditions and the ability to support patients with communication difficulties and cognitive impairments.

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting assessments and treatment sessions for patients with neurological conditions
  • Assisting with the development of individualized care plans and ensuring their effective implementation
  • Fostering independence in patients through targeted interventions and exercises

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
