Job Overview: We are seeking a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant to join our team in Tiverton.

This role involves providing 1-1 support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities
  • To work closely with teachers and support staff to identify areas where students need additional support.
  • To develop and implement tailored plans to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • To provide guidance and support to students to help them engage with learning and build their confidence.
  • To work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure consistency and continuity of support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, trauma, or challenging behaviour is desirable.
  • A strong understanding of SEMH and its impact on children's lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid driving licence is essential, as the role may involve travel to different locations.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, able to respond to changing circumstances.
Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is £85-£95 per week.

About the Role

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, requiring a driver due to potential travel between sites. As a member of our team, you will be part of a dedicated group committed to supporting young people to succeed.
