Job Overview

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing general support to teachers and pupils throughout the school day, assisting with lesson planning and preparation, and supporting pupils with special educational needs. You will also have the opportunity to develop and deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with special educational needs, working collaboratively with teachers to identify and address barriers to learning.

Key Requirements

We are seeking an individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with pupils, staff, and parents. You will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, with a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

A GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths and English is essential, as well as relevant experience in a primary school or early years setting. A NVQ2/3 or equivalent qualification would be desirable, but not essential.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £17,998 - £18,574 per annum (Actual), rising to £24,790 - £25,584 FTE.
