HR Training Scheme Manager

At the National Audit Office, we are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Training Scheme Manager to oversee our graduate and school leaver training schemes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders and make a real difference to trainees as they start their careers with us.
About the RoleThis role is responsible for all aspects of our professional accountancy training schemes, including managing relationships and contracts with external bodies, such as our college provider and the ICAEW. You will also be responsible for ensuring that NAO trainees receive high-quality support from the training team, and that all elements of the scheme are completed quickly and accurately with an emphasis on customer service.
You will be required to design and implement developments to enhance the training scheme, ensure trainees receive support and training to pass their exams and achieve their ICAEW qualification, manage communication and engagement with trainees, and provide direct support to trainees on reasonable adjustments and exam pathways as required.
About YouWe are looking for someone with experience of managing a professional training scheme of a similar size and scope to ours, who has strong Excel skills and can analyse data to identify trends and key risks. You should also have experience in managing online systems and be proactive in identifying improvements in how we do things and opportunities to add value.
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, you will be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve the best outcome and service to clients. Experience of managing and developing junior colleagues is also essential.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a range of internal colleagues, including the NAO's QPRT, the Trainee Experience Programme manager, the wider HR team, Learning and Development; service line leadership, including Executive Directors, trainees, and performance coaches.
