Role Overview

ProAV, a leading global audio visual integrator, seeks an experienced Commissioning Engineer to join its Dublin team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating Audio Visual (AV) systems on construction site fitouts, new builds, and existing occupied client sites.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional engineer to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission and configure AV and associated network systems, adhering to industry and manufacturer certification, industry standards, and experience.
  • Maintain ongoing education of key AV manufacturer technology, software, hardware, and upcoming innovations.
  • Develop strong communication skills, verbal and written, to build and maintain relationships with internal departments, clients, and contractors.
  • Perform base and final programming and device configuration of systems such as digital signal processors (DSPs), video conferencing (VC), and Unified Conferencing (UC) systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installations meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct system testing, calibration, and adjustments for optimal performance.
  • Document system configurations, commissioning procedures, and user training materials.
  • Provide on-site support during installations and training sessions for end-users.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging AV, UC, networking, and AI technologies.
