**JOB TITLE**:Deputy Production Coordinator
**JOB TYPE**:Full Time
**HOURS OF WORK**: Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 4.00pm and Friday, 7.00am to 11.00am. Occasional weekend working
**SALARY**:£26,450 per annum
**JOB PURPOSE**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to support the Production Co-Ordinator in the efficient day to day operation of the plant driving improvements and achieving production goals.
**Duties to include but not limited to**:
- Attend / support daily Production meetings, assisting the responsible shift Co-Ordinator during team briefings based on Visual Management boards, KPI’s and other relevant information.
- Step-in to cover the required shift in the absence of the Co-Ordinator during periods of illness, annual leave or whilst seconded to project works.
- Shadow Co-Ordinators over agreed periods allowing skills and knowledge of the full Co-Ordinator role to be developed and practiced.
- Agree, Lead, and provide support for small scale Process & Efficiency Improvement projects within the Plant Departments as agreed with the Manager.
- Support the Co-Ordinators in Managing and acting on a range of appropriate KPI’s using Visual Management Boards for the plant/area and cascading responsibilities through the team to give ownership to appropriate members of the team.
- Active member of the Production team contributing to the improved performance of the plant to collectively deliver sustained profit growth for the business.
- Support the Management and monitoring of processes to ensure that a high level of customer service is always maintained.
- Assist the Co-Ordinators in monitoring processes to ensure that the plant teams despatch products accurately and on time.
- Help manage stock levels of products for production requirements and maintain cost effective stock levels.
- A deep understanding of our product range and the customer requirement for garments.
- A thorough knowledge and experienced user of our systems, Protrack and TMS.
- Problem Solving (5C), Visual Management, Continuous Improvement & KPI driven.
- Regular PC user with experience of Microsoft Office products.
- Assist in following different problem solving process to deal with customer complaints/Non-Conformance Report and reduce/eliminate concerns raised, aiding the continuous improvement, and solving problems at every level of the business.
- Propose, develop, and assist in delivering process changes to the plant, operational processes, and organisation to improve efficiencies.
- Clear communication with all relevant aspects of the business.
- Ability to communicate promptly and professionally, both internally and externally at all times.
- Assist in ensuring that plant/area Key Performance Indicators are current, relevant, and up to date at all times.

**Deputy Production Coordinator role - Employment Details**
- Full-time, permanent employment
- 30 days’ annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 33 days for loyalty service.
