Key Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of the Group's VAT affairs, ensuring compliance with HMRC's regulations and making tax digital requirements.
  • Prepare quarterly VAT returns for the main trading company, including setting up new articles and reconciliations.
  • Provide advice on VAT and employment tax compliance, as well as R&D claims and corporation tax disclosures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Payroll, Tech, Customs, and Finance, to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.

About the Role

This is a hybrid opportunity that requires a strong understanding of VAT regulations and a passion for making processes more efficient. As an Indirect Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in driving forward Dunelm's financial health and championing the integration of financial processes into key priority areas.
