Job OverviewThis is an exciting leadership role that involves overseeing the daily operations of one of our practice locations. As a Veterinary Practice Director, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
You will work closely with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to achieve key performance indicators, including capacity and skills utilisation, and cost management. Your ability to promote the practice externally through local community events and other avenues will also be essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the planning and execution of practice rotas to ensure optimum service levels and maximise clinical skills utilisation.

- Work closely with the Lead Vet and Regional Operations Director to drive commercial performance and achieve key performance indicators.
- Maintain high standards of regulatory, practice, and operational compliance by conducting audits and sharing best practices.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge and understanding of practice environments, ideally gained in a veterinary, GP, or dental practice setting.
- Understanding of the importance of regulation and effective processes for compliance.
- Experience in driving strong commercial performance through financial management, marketing activity, and efficient ways of working.
- Resource planning experience.
- Coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
- Proficiency with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
As a valued member of our team, you can expect:
