Veterinary Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Receptionist to join our Esher practice as a full-time Client Care Assistant. This role will support a team of Veterinary Surgeons, Nurses, and Veterinary Care Assistants in delivering exceptional patient care.
About the RoleThis is a busy and varied front-of-house position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing tills and card machines, alarms, voicemail, and systems to ensure seamless practice operations.
- Coordinating appointment slots for clients to book online, ensuring timely scheduling and efficient use of resources.
- Greeting clients upon arrival, updating records, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Serving as an advocate for the Medivet Healthcare Plan, completing relevant sign-up documentation with clients.
- Maintaining accurate online practice information, including opening hours and current colleagues.
As a key member of our reception team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice and providing outstanding patient care.

To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Excellent client-facing and reception skills.
- Experience working as part of a team and building positive working relationships.
- Familiarity with online appointment booking systems.
- Strong administration skills and previous veterinary reception experience.
- Social media and website content management skills.
