They are in search of a Vice President of Corporate Development & M&A, who will be an integral part of an already distinguished senior leadership team, contributing to the formulation of the long-term strategic vision of the organization. This role is hands-on, necessitating comprehensive execution of M&A transactions, tailored for professionals with substantial deal-making experience.

THE ROLE:

  • Formulate and execute the organization's M&A strategy
  • Assemble a top-tier Corporate Development/M&A team
  • Evaluate, analyze, and appraise acquisition prospects, including the creation and review of financial models and acquisition justifications
  • Ensure meticulous pre-acquisition integration (and separation) planning
  • Steer the overall M&A deal pipeline, encompassing outreach and sourcing of new opportunities, joint ventures, etc.
  • Establish and nurture essential relationships with current and prospective investors
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Business Officer on significant commercial initiatives and private equity engagements

THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Over 10 years of pertinent experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors is preferred
  • Experience in collaboration with private equity is desirable
  • Background in a leading investment bank or top-tier consultancy is preferred
  • Adaptable in a constantly evolving and expanding environment
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation capabilities
