Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Specialist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHSFT. The successful candidate will be based within the Healthcare Team at HMP Garth, providing primary care, emergency care, mental health and clinical substance misuse care to residents.

This is a varied and challenging role that requires the ability to work on your own initiative under supervision, engage in reflective practice, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. As a Clinical Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical skills and knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To assess, plan, organise and deliver clinical care in line with service pathways and agreed upon by supervising clinicians.
  • To work with the multi-professional team and Registered Nurses to provide holistic and person-centred care for individuals across all ages and settings.
  • To work independently under the leadership of Registered Nurses, contributing to all aspects of the clinical process.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Associate qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care.
  • Ability to evaluate your own strengths and development needs, effective time management skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
