About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Team Leader to join our Integrated Mental Health team at HMP Garth.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing referrals into our service, arranging assessments, and prioritizing crisis interventions.

You will also prioritize and organize the team's workload, provide expert clinical leadership, and manage a defined caseload ensuring full compliance with CPA, Safeguarding, Vulnerable Adults, and other policies.

In addition, you will ensure a culture of care is evident within the team where clinical staff enable and empower service users.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • NMC Registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
  • Knowledge of current NHS agenda and clinical governance relevant to practice
  • Detailed knowledge of dual diagnosis (MH and Substance Misuse)
  • Awareness of current offender health issues

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership and Management Development Training
  • RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse
  • Knowledge of dual diagnosis
  • Teaching and Assessing in Clinical Practice
