Job Overview

Mersey Care NHS Trust is proud to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to join our innovative prison-based assessment and treatment service for residents with personality-related needs.

The successful candidate will lead a team of mental health professionals in providing high-quality care to individuals with complex clinical and risk presentations. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care coordination.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Promote a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the service.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or equivalent qualification.
  • Degree or equivalent further level of accredited qualification in one or more psychological therapies (CAT, MBT, DBT, EMDR, CBT).
  • Two years working within secure forensic settings or with individuals with complex clinical and risk presentations.
