Clinical Care Assistant

We are seeking a Clinical Care Assistant to join our team at Worden Medical Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and clinical staff.
Main Responsibilities- Signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional based on their presenting condition.
- Answer incoming phone calls and transfer calls or deal with callers' requests appropriately.
- Enter read-code data on EMIS and update patient records as necessary.
- Participate in practice audit as directed by the audit lead.
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the Clinical Care Assistant may be required to:
- Scan patient-related documentation and attach scanned documents to patients' healthcare records.
- Provide administrative support to the practice team, including reception duties.
- Develop effective time management and prioritization skills to meet the demands of the role.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
