Perinatal Clinical Leadership Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-performing, dynamic, and compassionate community perinatal team within the Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The trust, recently rated as Good by the CQC, is investing in Clinical Leadership and Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the Perinatal CMHT as part of its ambition to provide excellent, and advanced Clinical Care to Mums and families in the Perinatal Period.

Main Responsibilities

As a Senior Perinatal Clinical Practitioner, you will provide advanced clinical expertise, judgement, and care planning as part of an excellent Multi-disciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously to provide the best standard in care provision, promoting recovery-based care programmes and setting high standards for the delivery of care to service users and their families. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality perinatal services.

Requirements
  • MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
  • First degree in Registered Health profession
  • Registered Practitioner
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of a range of approaches to perinatal mental health assessment and psychosocial interventions
  • Confident in the delivery of care to the service user group
  • Skilled in delivering evidence-based practice for patients who self-harm or attempt suicide
