About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Teaching Assistant - SEN Specialist to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a student with ASD, working in a supportive and inclusive mainstream school setting.

The successful candidate will possess a strong ability to engage with students, providing individualized support and encouragement to help them reach their full potential. They will work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement effective learning strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality support to a student with ASD, ensuring their individual needs are met
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, teachers, and support staff
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN in the UK
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Full-time availability

The salary for this role is £90-£100 per annum, depending on experience.
