About the Job: We are looking for a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse group of pupils, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Job Description: The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver tailored support programs for pupils with varying needs. You will assist pupils with daily tasks, participate in lessons, and engage in activities that promote social, emotional, and academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with their learning and development, both individually and in groups.
  • Assist pupils with daily tasks, such as personal care and mobility.
  • Participate in lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of individual pupils.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to identify and implement strategies to address pupil needs.

Requirements: Relevant professional or personal experience in SEN is essential for this role. A strong understanding of SEN principles and practices is necessary, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, maintaining confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.

Salary: £26,500 - £29,500 per annum, depending on experience. Inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent later. All applicants must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
