Science Education Specialist

At Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a skilled Science Education Specialist to join our team from January. As an outstanding secondary school in Daventry, Northamptonshire, we pride ourselves on providing an exceptional education for our students.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire and motivate students to develop a love for science and achieve excellent academic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging science lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback that promotes growth and improvement.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching science effectively.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events that promote a sense of community and shared purpose.
Requirements:
- A degree in a science-related subject, with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching science at the secondary level, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong classroom management skills that promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration and teamwork.
- A commitment to continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in science education.
