Job Title: Tutor and Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a qualified Teacher/Tutor/Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis, supporting children in their homes and local libraries.

Due to an increased number of school-age pupils unable to attend school because of learning barriers, we aim to create a supportive environment for these students to access education. Pupils with special and additional needs, such as SEMH difficulties, Autism, Attachment Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, and Specific Learning Difficulties, may benefit from this provision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach subject specialization on a 1:1 basis to pupils.
  • Build strong relationships with students to tailor approaches to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Adapt and change approach as needed to suit the environment.

Requirements:
  • Fully qualified Teacher/Tutor/Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
