Education Coordinator for Performing Arts

Company Overview: We are a reputable school in Daventry seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Education Coordinator for Performing Arts to join our team. Our school is committed to providing a positive and engaging learning experience for all students.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be passionate about education and have a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching across KS4 and KS5. The role involves planning and delivering exciting lessons, monitoring student progress, creating a safe and conducive learning environment, and collaborating with the school team to provide quality academic support.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that challenge and inspire secondary students
- Monitor and assess student progress, keeping regular records of academic performance
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
- Collaborate with school management and teaching staff to provide quality academic support for students
- Prepare and participate in school-related activities, such as performances and events
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- QTS or equivalent qualification
- Degree in a relevant field, such as Performing Arts or Education
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
- Strong interpersonal skills, with effective communication and collaboration
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and its application in class
- Ability to adapt teaching styles to facilitate different learning styles
Salary: This role is paid to scale on a permanent contract, following the MPS/UPS pay scale within the National pay scale. Estimated salary range £30,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
