About the Job

At Franke Coffee Systems UK Limited, a global leader in coffee technology and innovation, we are seeking an experienced Tech Support Professional to join our international IT support team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will be based at our offices in St Albans and will have the opportunity to extend your impact to teams in Manchester and Falkirk.

This role involves providing remote support as well as occasional visits to ensure seamless IT operations for all locations. Your tasks will include:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd level support within the UK.
  • Handling joiner/mover/leaver processes using ServiceNow.
  • Supporting standard applications (M365, Adobe) and managing software provisioning (SCCM).
  • Installing, maintaining, and provisioning client hardware (desktops, laptops, tablets, barcode scanners) and peripherals (printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines).
  • Providing telephony VoIP support.
  • Offering network support (LAN) and monitoring WAN and Server VMs.
  • Managing mobile devices and contracts.
  • Conducting introduction and training sessions.
  • Contributing as a team member to various projects.
  • Acting as a local contact for Platform Services.
  • Handling quotes and the order process for hardware.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Relevant educational qualifications.
  • 3 years of work experience in the IT Service Desk area.
  • Experience in ICT service operations.
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL.
  • Broad technical skills in hardware, OS, and software (Microsoft, mobile devices).
