Position Overview

This role involves a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, alongside a car allowance and an annual bonus.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals aiming to advance their careers within the logistics sector, working for one of the UK's prominent logistics firms that is consistently expanding.

Our esteemed client operates over 40 depots, employs around 3000 staff, and executes 400,000 deliveries annually with a fleet of over 4,000 vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily transport plan, ensuring compliance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist in re-planning routes and managing drivers across the UK for up to 25 vehicles each day.
  • Engage with drivers both in person and via phone.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors effectively.
  • Communicate with clients to guarantee timely deliveries.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in transport operations and planning.
  • Proficiency in computerized systems.
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
