About the Role:

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to contribute to the assessment and neurorehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury within the BIRT neurobehavioral model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialist psychological/neuropsychological assessments using various tools and methods.
  • Coordinate and lead care plans, formulating evidence-based psychological interventions and set SMART goals with service users and the team.
  • Implement therapeutic and rehabilitation interventions tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide psychological advice to the multi-disciplinary team and oversee the implementation of therapeutic approaches.
  • Perform risk assessments and manage psychological aspects of risk whilst maintaining high standards of clinical record-keeping and data collection.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality service delivery.
  • Participate in local meetings, contributing a psychological perspective.
  • Assist in the development of clinical policies and delivery models for neuropsychology.
  • Maintain communication links with NHS, Social Services, and other relevant agencies.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Psychology, accepted by BPS.
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Or equivalent)
  • HCPC Registered
