Job Title: Senior Neuropsychologist Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Neuro Rehab Times.

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with adults with neurological conditions, particularly those with acquired brain injury or complex care needs. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and management of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Devise evidence-led therapy programmes at a specialist level, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary working to achieve the best outcomes for our patients
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care in line with national guidance for excellence
  • Named Therapist duties to ensure cohesive goal-setting and therapy and coordinating discharge
  • Participate in internal training (induction, mandatory training, MDT in-service)
  • Ensure all relevant codes of practice and regulations are upheld
  • Participate in service delivery audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience of working in a neurorehabilitation setting
  • Experience in working with aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia is essential
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
  • Ability to motivate patients over short & long periods
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
