HR Director for Compliance and Strategy

A strategic HR leader is required to join Michael Page (UK) as an Academy HR Director. This role involves ensuring that HR policies and practices align with company goals and values, while maintaining compliance with regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage HR discipline and devise an effective HR strategy
• Develop and implement HR policies and practices that support business objectives
• Build relationships with senior leadership to provide a commercial and professional HR service
• Advise on remuneration and reward packages, maintain employee benefits
• Utilise HR software system to minimise administration
• Provide first-line advice on HR issues and manage complex employee relations
• Support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and implement Learning and Development opportunities
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
• Previous experience in FMCG preferred
• Leadership and management skills, self-motivated and able to work independently
What's on Offer
The role is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract initially, with potential to be extended or made permanent. Part-time, 3-4 days per week, with 2-3 days spent in the office based in Bourton-on-the-Water. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
